NewayAero uses aerospace-grade Hastelloy X powder with strict control over chemistry, flowability and oxygen content. During the SLM printing process, parameters such as laser energy, hatch spacing and layer thickness are carefully monitored to prevent cracking and ensure uniform melt pool stability.
To achieve full density and creep resistance, printed components undergo hot isostatic pressing (HIP) followed by precision heat treatment. These steps eliminate micro-voids, refine the microstructure and enhance thermal stability for long-term aerospace and energy system reliability.
Features requiring high accuracy—such as flow channels, mounting faces and sealing surfaces—are refined using EDM or CNC machining. This ensures dimensional accuracy and eliminates stress concentration points, meeting aerospace-grade tolerances.
NewayAero conducts full material testing and analysis, including metallography, X-ray CT scanning and mechanical evaluation. Each component receives documentation for traceability and certification—particularly for applications in aerospace and power generation, where operational safety is of the utmost importance.
